Quick Post

This time of year is CRAZY......it's cross country season, so you probably have noticed a drop off in posts, sorry about that. But my cross country teams have been doing great. I have boys running 5k in the 18 minute range and girls running 2 miles in 13 minutes. I'm pretty proud of them. State is about a month away, so I'll be back soon.

Anyway here's what has been going on around our house......

Hazel has been collecting things. I've found piles of rocks in her pockets, in the bathtub, on the kitchen table and in her shoes. I'm sure there are more piles, I just haven't come across them yet. She even fell into the koi pond at church because she was "getting a rock".

Hayden has one little bottom tooth and is painfully working on more. She has been eating more and more solids, new foods everyday and crawling and pulling up on everything. I can't believe she is almost 8 months old.

They are both growing so fast and it is amazing and funny to me the way Hazel's little mind works. Here are a few....

"Mama! Go get the squeezers. I have a splinter!"

Hazel: "I'm going to get a skateboard for my birthday and a pink pogo stick."

Me: "Really? What color skateboard?"

Hazel: "Probably yellow."
