Easter

It was just a girls Easter this year. David started simulator training today in St. Louis. The simulators are so expensive that the company never stops them, they run 24 hours a day. When David was a new hire his sim slot was from 11 p.m. - 5 a.m. There is a lot that goes into learning a new aircraft. 3 Exams (written, oral and flight) and a lot of study and classroom time. So if you think of him this week from 1 p.m.- 7 p.m. he'll be in the sim.

Back to Easter....this was the first Sunday that I was alone in getting both girls ready and out the door on time. I wouldn't say we were early, but we made it. :) While I was driving to church with all the hustle I had a moment where I realized none of this "easter" stuff matters, in fact it's silly. Relationships are what matter. Our relationship with the Lord and others. I'm thankful to be a part of a church that is helping us grow in both ways. And it's still fun to get the girls all dressed up....they're pretty cute. :)

You're right about all the Easter craze - Thank you for making me feel less guilty for coming up over the bridge to find a line backed up along the access road nearly all the way from HH to LIFE's entrance...
'cause I did a U Turn and went home.
